Simple as that.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Flex Those Skills<\/strong>: Make it easy to spot your skills by including a short list of your key soft and hard skill sets up top.\n<ul>\n<li>Soft skills: Team leadership, project management, storytelling, communication<\/li>\n<li>Hard skills: Google analytics, Excel, Salesforce, Facebook Advertising.\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure your\u00a0highlighted skills outline why you\u2019re a good fit for the job \u2014 pull some key words from the job description if you\u2019re struggling to think of a few.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>A World of Experience<\/strong>: This section should include each company you\u2019ve worked for, your title, the dates you worked there, and several bullet points that describe your key accomplishments and responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Flipside:<\/strong>\u00a0Don\u2019t be afraid to include positions that aren\u2019t directly related to the one you\u2019re applying for, especially if you have limited work experience. You can still use it to demonstrate the skills and qualities you want highlighted.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Badges, Degrees, Grades, oh my!<\/strong>: Don&#8217;t forget to include those degrees or certifications if you have any. GPA is optional, but may be worth including if you\u2019ve graduated recently with high marks (3.5 +).<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Cherry on top: <\/strong>Sprinkle on that extra serving of \u201cAdditional Experience\u201d to your resume by including clubs\/organizations, volunteer experience, awards you\u2019ve won, and even interesting hobbies or activities at the end.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keep It Concise:<\/strong>\u00a0Limit your resume to 1-2 pages at the most.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p><strong>Additional Questions to Ask Yourself:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What makes me stand out from the crowd?<\/p>\n<p>What unique opportunities have I been apart of?<\/p>\n<p>What are some of my greatest accomplishments?<\/p>\n<p>How can I tailor my experiences to the job I&#8217;m applying to?<\/p>\n<p>What are my greatest strengths\/skills?<\/p>\n<p>What am I <em>passionate<\/em> about?<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>We hope some of these steps will be used as helpful reminders when curating your own content for your resume.<\/p>\n<p>Looking for a shortcut to some of our program applications?
